Founder / Director
After spending his formative years growing up in upstate NY, Jordan attended Northeastern University in Boston, graduating in 2006 with a degree in English Literature and Philosophy. In 2012, Jordan purchased Pier Pizza in North Kingstown and shortly after instituted the Let’s Read Rhode Island program that was inspired by a similar program run by Pizza Hut that Jordan had enjoyed in his youth. In 2015, Jordan purchased Pier Pizza in Wakefield and formalized Let’s Read by incorporating and filing for 501c3 non-profit status. Jordan has used his free time serving on the NK Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2014-2017, writing several articles published in the RI Small Business Journal and exploring New England on his motorcycle. He is currently keeping very busy running his two businesses, mentoring elementary school Chess Club at nearby Quidnessett Elementary, and working hard on expanding the breadth and scope of the Let’s Read RI program.
